2026 Community Clinic Grant Program
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is awarding grants through its Community Clinic Grant Program to support the capacity of eligible organizations to plan, establish, or operate clinical services for low-income populations and/or those in rural areas of Minnesota. Funding for Fiscal Year 2026 will prioritize increasing or maintaining access to health services for the uninsured and underinsured. Eligible applicants include nonprofit clinics, government entities operating clinics, Indian Health Services units, Indian tribal governments operating clinics, or consortiums of these entities, all of which must provide preventative, medical, dental, or mental health primary care services and have a policy ensuring no denial of services due to inability to pay (e.g., sliding-fee scale). Collaboration is encouraged. Estimated funding available is $1,551,000, with 25-28 awards anticipated, and a maximum award of $60,000. The grant period is March 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027.
