The Deutschlandstipendium
The Deutschlandstipendium is a national scholarship program supporting talented students at German universities. It provides financial and non-material support, irrespective of personal income or parents' income. The scholarship aims to support students who show outstanding academic excellence, a willingness to take responsibility, or overcome particular biographical hurdles, with 300 euros per month. Half of the funding comes from the federal government and the other half from private sponsors. The scholarships are awarded directly by the higher education institutions.
