ESG Program - City of Utica
The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program provides component services and assistance, generally consisting of short-term and medium-term rental assistance, rental arrears, rental application fees, security deposits, utility payments, and utility arrears. The goal is to prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless and to rapidly re-house those who are experiencing homelessness. Services include street outreach, emergency shelter, homeless prevention, and rapid re-housing. The program is designed to address housing instability and help secure stable housing.
