Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) program provides grants for students who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families. Recipients must agree to serve as a full-time teacher for at least four academic years within eight years after completing their course of study. Failure to complete this service obligation will result in the grant being converted to a Direct Unsubsidized Loan.
