Income-Eligible Assistance Programs - NIPSCO

You may be eligible to receive assistance to help pay your NIPSCO bill from the Energy Assistance Program (EAP) if your household income is at or below 60% of the State Median Income (SMI). NIPSCO customers may also be able to receive assistance through the NIPSCO Hardship Program, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) utility assistance, a federal program for households financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and other non-profit assistance programs.
