Volunteer at The Bowery Mission

The Bowery Mission is seeking volunteers to help meet the needs of men, women, and families experiencing homelessness, hunger, and poverty in New York City. Volunteer roles include serving/preparing meals, participating in clothing programs, offering special or professional skills, and mentoring clients or students. Individual, corporate group, and high-impact long-term volunteer opportunities are available. Volunteers must be 18+ and in good health. Individuals who have received services from The Bowery Mission must wait at least one year before becoming eligible to volunteer. Court-ordered community service is not accepted.
